Laziness Gets You Nowhere
Robert Kiyosaki tweeted a great quote (or comment) the other day that got mr thinking. He said:
“People are poor because they are too lazy. They may be working hard, but they are lazy about their financial education.”
During these hard economic times, people have lost jobs, cut back on spending, or even lost large assets. But even in during these tough situations, people don’t change the way they think. They get stuck on in this rut where they continue to think and process the same way as before, anticipating that their lives will change.
But change is not automatic. If you need to be somewhere, or have a goal of some kind (be it financially, spiritually, socially, etc.), you first need to check and see if the path your own will get you there. If not, it’s time to start develop a new game plan.
Game plans are great as they determine the steps you’ll need to make it to your destination. But not only will your game plans help show you the steps needed, you’ll soon see the obstacles that will surface.
I’d encourage you to stop where you are and see if the path you’re on is taking you where you want to be. And if need-be, re-think your current strategy. Don’t remain poor, but educate yourself in the areas that will help you succeed!
